Our Unscreened Soil
is a versatile, cost-effective option ideal for a wide range of landscaping and ground-preparation projects. Because it hasn’t been filtered, it contains natural clumps and small stones, making it perfect for jobs where ultra-fine soil isn’t required. Its naturally varied texture also helps improve soil drainage, creating a more stable base for future planting or landscaping work.
Unscreened soil is commonly used for:
Filling holes
and low spots in the garden
Raising and building up landscaping beds
Creating a solid base layer
for new garden areas
Levelling uneven ground
before adding screened soil, turf, or other finishes
For new beds, we recommend adding 20cm (8in) or more
to create a strong foundation before topping with finer soil.
